Lovingly reimagined and restored in 2023 by general contractor, Jennava L. Laska (b. 1985) with the encouragement of her beloved father, Lewis L. Laska (b. 1947).
And with the help of dedicated craftsmen, Alejandro Estrada Alamilla, Jose Manuel Sanchez Estrada and Mario Miguel Estrada Almaguer

Jennava (Jenna) is a licensed contractor (License #76447) for residential and small commercial up to $1.5M per contract in the State of Tennessee. She was the interior designer for the underground house and made much of the art and sculptures throughout the property. She is also a certified WBE by the NWBOC - National certification program for certification as a woman-owned and woman-controlled business. NAICS Codes: 236220, 531390 and 53110.
Alejandro hails from Mexico and is embodies the immigrant American success story. Jennava wants to express her immense gratitude, respect and appreciation for the hard work, courage, dedication, professionalism, and kindness he has brought to this project. Without Alejandro and his men, the Underground House would not be the amazing place it is today.
